Update from Purgatory

Scratch that—this is what Hell looks like.

Thank goodness DSLady has fired back some Sunshine and Liebster questions to keep me busy! At this rate, I will have composed an entire autobiography before the results are in.

SUNSHINE QUESTIONS:

1. How tall are you?
5’5” when I want to be intimidating; 5’4” when I want to be cute. (5’4.5” doesn’t fit on internet forms.)

2. Are you a morning person?
With a vengeance. I feel like this clashes with most aspects of my personality and lifestyle, but when my internal clock goes off I spring up and practically start dancing. Which also means falling asleep in front of 8 o’clock movies, but that’s where coffee comes in. 😉

3. If you could dye your hair any colour, which would you go? If none, why not?
I’ve been dying to try blonde, but I’m afraid of feeling like a totally different person. Also of frying my hair.

4. Sunrise or Sunset?
Ohhhh I get it because this is the Sunshine Award I may be an early bird, but sunsets are straight-up prettier.

5. Are you in the Minion hateclub or fanclub?
Neither? I feel like they’re a victim of Nickelback Syndrome, i.e. the internet suddenly declared a collective vendetta against them and we all took up our pitchforks just to be cool. Mind you, I’d probably take out a minion with a pitchfork if it came running at me.

6. What’s your Hogwarts house and why?
Well Ravenclawk and Slytherink just don’t have the same ring to them, you see. I’d be an unlikely Gryffindor type like Hermione or Neville, but I’m also incredibly competitive and like to treat life as a series of epic quests.

7. Are you good at public speaking?
I figured it out toward the end of uni. If I talk with my hands enough, people don’t notice how badly they’re shaking.

8. Tell us about your favourite book.
Mr. and Mrs. Dursley of Number Four Privet Drive were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. They were the last sorts of people you’d expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious, because they just didn’t hold with such— oh, whoops, that’s not what you meant.

9. Favourite pizza topping?
PINEAPPLE ON PINEAPPLE I’m the least discerning pizza eater ever, but tomatoes and feta are my OTP.

10. Is your life anything like it was two years ago?
No, I have a cat now.

11. What is your favourite season?
Fall in Stardew Valley, Winter at Hogwarts, but irl I’m happiest during Spring.

LIEBSTER QUESTIONS:

1. How often do you listen to music?
Almost constantly when I’m alone. But I’m a weirdo and need to shut it off to get actual writing done.

2. What kind of music you like? Share a song if you want!
My music taste is a delightful trash heap that knows not the meaning of cohesion. A typical playlist features Top 40 dance music, instrumental soundtracks, sea shanties, classic rock, French rap, EDM, symphonic metal and not a single k-pop song nooooo not one. I usually get really embarrassed about sharing my favourite songs, but here, you can have this one!

3. Do you have/want tattoos? Describe them!

4. Have you read/watched LOTR? Do you like it or think it’s too long and boring?
Lol what’s a LOTR?

5. Thoughts on children?
My maternal instinct is totally mis-programmed for cats. However, I’ve recently realized I kind of enjoy working with them.

6. Do you like where you’re from?
I don’t have a hometown, but I also like how that sounds, so yes.

7. Favourite expansion pack?
World Adventures is my bro. *fist bump*

8. What’s your favourite series? (books, tv show, or movies?)
*consciously avoiding HP/LOTR answers* Lately I’ve been binging Pokémon Indigo League and falling in love with it thrice over. One day I hope to attain Team Rocket’s level of punnery.

9. What’s your favourite game? (Other than sims!)
I’ve proclaimed my love for Stardew Valley and Pokémon already, so here’s a shout-out to my first major PC addiction, Zoo Tycoon.

10. What’s your favourite thing to do on lazy days where you have 0 obligations?
Making a really long to-do list for the sole purpose of not doing anything on said to-do list.

11. What is your current desktop picture?
