Welcome to the real first chapter of Generation Seven! I should probably put a note on 7.1 to skip straight here, but I’m lazy and selfish and would rather make you all suffer through what I had to. #sorrynotsorry
Either way, we made it! The spares are outta here and the hype is off the charts.
Siesta: Omg is it finally my turn??! Omg omg okay, I have so many plans ahhhhh where should I start?!?
Well, aren’t I chuffed! After a year of lousy updating, you guys still have the goodness in your hearts to do stuff like this. Thanks a bajillion to umbramuse who nominated me first, and to Heather and MichelleLynn who also nominated me for the Lobster Liebster Award!
I don’t usually do the warm and fuzzy stuff, but I’m gonna have to slip in some realtalk. It’s a funny little community we have here, with our Simming and our pictures and funnies and scorekeeping and whatever else. Have you ever sat back and looked at your blog and thought “What even is this?” It’s hard to explain what we do to most people, or even find a WordPress category that can begin to contain it. But however little and however specialized, I love being a part of a blogosphere where everyone is so supportive of one another’s creative endeavours, and in general, just so dang awesome.
2.7 The Darkling’s Crusade
Is anybody else slightly terrified by this?
‘Cause I know I am. If you’ve read my foreword, you’ll know that I don’t cope too well with these kinds of changes, and neither do my legacies. I tend to get caught between excitement and nostalgia, and then I curl up in a ball of jittery indecision which soon becomes a mushroom cloud of “SCREW IT JUST TAKE MY MONEY.” And let’s be honest here, it’s not like I’m going to finish this thing anytime in the next year. Thus the terrification; I want so badly to finish this legacy but I also know these games will probably be obsolete before I can manage that. So what do?
I guess I should be glad this is the biggest stresser in my life right now. 😛
